Irene Magritte first learned to love gardening from her parents, taking care of flower beds and vegetable gardens in Nyon. Her appreciation for all things flora grew through travel to different climates and seeing the breadth of design styles and possibilities. She noticed that nothing makes a place feel more peaceful, beautiful, and lush than well-designed gardens and greenery. In the 2010s, she completed sustainable garden and landscape training and participated in multiple volunteer garden projects in the community including garden design and installations, garden maintenance, and fielding garden care questions at events and phone lines. She now makes her garden expertise as a local entrepreneur offering garden consulting and care services.
